Professor Hemantha Senanayake is an Emeritus Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and the President of the Asian Society of Endometriosis.
He founded the Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association of Sri Lanka in 2016. He is the Course Director for the Emergency Obstetrics Course run by the Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka.
He has been a Board member of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA) since 2016 and was the Congress Chair for the Asian Congress on Endometriosis in 2021, which was held virtually.
