Prof. Christopher Hill is a biochemistry graduate and was awarded my PhD in 2017 from the University of Liverpool.
He joined the Department of Women’s and Children’s health in 2019 as a postdoctoral research associate working with Prof Dharani Hapangama. His research interests span a wide range of gynaecological pathologies including endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, endometrial cancer and ectopic pregnancy.
He employs analytical techniques (mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy) to generate molecular fingerprints of biosamples in the pursuit of novel biomarkers. And also generate in vitro models from primary tissue and stem cells to understand disease pathophysiology and facilitate drug screening.
