Prof. Chathura Ratnayake (MBBS, MS Ob Gyn – Colombo; FRCOG – UK) is the Chair Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya. He is a distinguished clinician and academic with extensive expertise in maternal and fetal health.
His research interests focus on reproductive toxicology, preterm labour, fetal surveillance, perinatal infections, and quality improvement in antenatal and intrapartum care, contributing to advancements in both clinical practice and medical education.
