
Dr. Naoko Sasamoto is a gynecologist and molecular epidemiologist and Assistant Professor at the Epidemiology Program in the Public Health Sciences Division at Fred Hutch Cancer Center and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Washington School of Medicine. Her research focuses on identifying diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers to improve clinical outcomes of endometriosis and ovarian cancer, applying the -omics technology. She has received multiple federal and foundation research awards including the Department of Defense Ovarian Cancer Research Program Ovarian Cancer Academy, Rivkin Scientific Scholar Award, and the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award.
